Hey! I am Juan Carlos-but most people back home called me canche (yep, that's my nickname). I was born in Silver Spring, Maryland but my mother took me when I was a baby back to Guatemala where I raised. .

My cousin told me about his amazing experiences hosting and meeting people from all over the world. I got inspired and ended up hosting several travelers myself.

Hosting travelers at my home was an awesome experience-full of great conversation, laughs and cultural exchange.
