I've been Couchsurfing for 6 years now and have always had positive experiences. Meeting new people around the world is the whole reason I travel and I love the sense of community on here. Currently living in Guelph, Ontario while finishing my masters in Arctic ecology.

I travel a lot and love to make new friends. If anyone wants to come to the sleepy town of Guelph, I'll host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with hosts in Canada/Québec, Puerto Rico, Panama, across Europe, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Alaska. I've hosted a couple people from around the world when I was living in Montreal and Panama City and frequently go to fun couchsurfing events.

I could go on for hours about Canadian/québécois/Inuit artists if you don't stop me. Mildly addicted to Netflix and read a lot in French/English during holidays.

Working in Churchill, Manitoba at catching insects while avoiding the many polar bears,

Hitchhiking to go camp in Denali and seeing the incredibly abundant wildlife,

Birding in the forests of Peru and the salt flats of Bolivia,

Eating my way through Argentina,

Camping on Bylot Island in Nunavut for 3 months under on non-stop daylight,

Paddling in the Vieques bioluminescent bay in Puerto Rico under a meteor shower,

Spending a couple homeless nights in Belgium, Spain and France,

Dancing the night away in Panama,

Getting lost in Tokyo at 14.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can show you birds and plants, we can practice any language I speak and you can teach me some more. I love to learn and believe everybody knows something I don't.

I love to cook and will share with pleasure. I'm very sociable so always down to grab a beer even if we can't stay together.
