I was born in Tokyo. I dreamed of being a hair stylist ever since I was a little girl. After traveling widely, I began my career in Tokyo, then ended up moving to San Francisco to gain more professional experience. Being abroad reaffirmed for her the values of traditional Japanese culture, and now I'm excited to share that with people she encounters on my travels worldwide.

Tōru Miyoshi was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. He grew up watching his mother and father, both hair stylists, and followed their footsteps to become one himself. At the age of 23, he traveled to Thailand and India with a pair of scissors, and cut hair for other fellow travelers he met. In so doing, he felt so much joy and personal growth that he began to dream of traveling the world this way. Upon his return to Japan, he got industry-certified, then moved to San Francisco to deepen his professional experience. Now he’s preparing to launch his dream of taking his journey worldwide.
