My friends would probably describe me as loving and generous.
I’m friendly but cautious. I try to workout 3 times a week to relieve some stress. I love chili dogs with no beans and velvet-a shells n cheese as a dinner; just every once in awhile because its terrible for you. Lol. I like not knowing what each day is going to be. I don’t like social media but have an exception for Snapchat. I like zippo lighters and matches. I like looking off rooftops. I am a huge animal lover. I love learning about different cultures; what people are like, how they talk and how they react to things. I give more than I get...which is something I am working on. I think the world is a balance beam and we are all here to balance each other out. Hoping to make a difference in the world anyway I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I said; leaving is something I have always been passionate about doing but have never done. I was in a long term relationship for 4 years which flatlined recently because like many relationships, you lose the feelings you had when you first met. It happens. For the first time in a long time I am wanting the best for Me. I feel like if I don’t leave state and do something like this that I will live a mediocre life with mediocre people and work a 9-5 at walmart. Lol..a little bizarre but truthfully I need something to put a spark back in me. I have only been to 3 states. Chicago, IL, Denver, Colorado and Oshkosh, WI. I’ve never been on an airplane, I have Never seen the Ocean. I haven’t done a lot of things and I am almost 25. Feel like in a blink of an eye it could all be over and I want to at least have one amazing story to tell.

Interests

Learning to play acoustic guitar. Seeing stand up comedy on tv or in person is a treat for me. Random walks with a friend to talk is always interesting. Learning more about sign language. Helping abused/homeless dogs. I love capturing pictures and videos in the moment. Meeting new amazing people.

I have an ear for good ol blues music. I like Tracy Chapman, Janis Joplin, Otis Redding. Alanis Morissette was my foundation of music as a kid. (My mom) ha. I also have a love for The record company and Kings of Leon. Niykee Heaton. My music is very diverse though; this is only a small portion of what I listen to.

Movies-Dirty Dancing is probably one of my all time favs. I loved the show Girlboss on Netflix. The outsiders, the show Friends, the ugly truth, joe dirt, Lovelace, adventures of babysitting, now and then, about last night-old and new version. I am a movie buff so I can go on and on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m not much of a teacher...I mean everyone is in their own way but I don’t see myself as one. I can teach you how do a long headstand. Haha. I’m hoping I can learn from my first CS experience. I pick up from people easily. I have always had a passion for picking up and going. I can share my past experiences if you’re interested in knowing. I want to be able to tell each other most things about ourselves and to share what’s on one another’s mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My awesome cleaning skills. Haha..seriously my mom was such a neat freak growing up that it sorta rubbed off on me. Not in an OCD type of way but in a good clean and organized way : ). Anything that is mine is yours. I really mean that. I am the type of person that if something isn’t being put to use then someone else should put it to use. I like to see my roommate/friend have a liking for my clothes, makeup, jewelry and whatever else. I don’t expect the same in return one bit. Just like to share. Sharing is caring.-Cheesy. I can be that too. Ha.
Most importantly, I want to share my wisdom. I’ve learned a few things here and there from my 24yrs and would like to give back any advice or help I can to someone who needs it.
