Hosting and now traveling-- I couchsurfed in Budapest and Prague, and I'm hosting a steady stream of visitors to Istanbul!

If you replace "amazing" with "amazed I was stupid enough to do this": get in the back seat of a strange car with a strange man and then immediately fall asleep.

More traditional interpretation of amazing--the night hike up Mt. Massive in Colorado and subsequent sunrise was pretty epic.
