ABOUT ME

We are two girls, Monika and Katrin, from a pretty small town in Bavaria who decided to jump off the conveyor belt called daily routine. Right now we are on our half an year journey through UK and Ireland, to learn new things, meet interesting people, seeing different lifestyles and last but not least learn more about ourselves...
We have just finished apprenticeship and school respectively so we are on the brink of a very new life, unsure what to do next but sure about having a good and in every respect rewarding time on our journey.
We are outgoing, fun-loving but owing to our family-background very down to earth. Its easy to get along with us, you just have to love chocolate and cakes as much as we do ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Because we are both two different individual we try to find a combined essence of our personal philosophies.
We love to get to know new things and being absolutely free, therefore we are open-minded but we still believe in values like that you should never forget where you come from and where your roots are.
And by the way: You don't need to be hungry to enjoy a marvellous, creamy, with lovely icing,... and cherries cake, its all about passion ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We both just came up with the idea of couchsurfing while we were on our journey so we don't have any couch to offer at the moment, but surely, when we come home, we want to give back what we achieved.

Interests

Its hard to list everything you are interested in because we think that every new adventure in your life adds a new interests so this is a very rough list:
- music, we love going on concerts, discovering new bands and songs and we both esteem music as something pretty essential

- everything which includes education, like reading books, going to exhibitions, meeting new people,... sounds like we are little geeks, we are not! :)

And of course we are not one person so our interest differ a bit

Monika likes to dance to music of the 30's, has a deep passion for cakes and old strange batmanmovies...

Katrin likes hiking in the mountains (not in the flat country!), eating the cakes monika made and just being lazy sometimes
