About Me
Hey there, fellow wanderers!
I’m Kamran, a Civil Engineer from Pakistan with an insatiable love for travel, learning, and connecting with people from all walks of life. Currently, I’m living in Xining , China, pursuing my Masters in Construction Project Management, a journey that’s as much about building structures as it is about building bridges between cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to understand the world is through its people. Whether I’m hosting or surfing, I love exchanging stories, ideas, and laughter with fellow travelers. I’ve been on both sides, exploring new places and welcoming strangers into my space, and both experiences have enriched my life in ways I never expected.
My Life in China
Moving to China for my studies has been an adventure in itself! From navigating language barriers (I speak Chinese and love practicing with locals) to discovering hidden tea houses and street food gems, every day is a learning experience. If you’re passing through, I’d be happy to:
- Share tips on local life, budget travel, and student hacks in China.
- Take you to my favorite bookstores, parks, or construction sites (yes, I geek out over infrastructure!).
- Teach you a few Chinese/Urdu phrases or learn yours in return!
Who Am I?
A fast-talking, question-asking curious mind, I love deep conversations about cultures, history, or even the future of sustainable construction. Don’t worry, I’m not nosy, just genuinely fascinated by people!
