ABOUT ME

There's 2 of us couchsurfing, Kate & Amy.
Kate:
I'm 23 years old, travelling the world with my best friend and just loving life. So far, we've been to South Africa, India, Singapore, Thailand and now Vietnam, we're heading to Australia, The Cook Islands, New Zealand and America as well on our epic world travels.
Amy:
Im 24 years old and graduated in Psychology last year. Im enjoying every moment of travelling and having the best time of my life. Truely living the dream!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well we're new to CouchSurfing, I discovered it reading a newspaper article and fell in love with the idea. I think there are so many kind, generous and open hearted people out there who want to open up their homes to others & CouchSurfing just seems like the portal that we all need in order to do that. I live at home with my Mom but when I get back I will most definitelty be a host. Meeting different people is enriching and quite frankly I feel sorry for people who are adverse to the idea.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Kate: I was lucky enough to have lived in South Africa when Nelson Mandela was voted in as the first black president in a democratic election. I love talking politics & especially my time living in South Africa which is very special to me. I've emigrated too so could chat to anyone about the highs & lows of making such a decision and going through with it. I don't want to learn about anything in particular, mainly what I want to do with my life. The main goal for me is just taking 6 months out and enjoying it to the max. Fingers crossed I'll have an epiphany and find out what I was born to do.
