To misrepresent myself in such a way that people think I am interesting
I moved to Hong Kong in July. The company I work for is focusing all their growth in Asia so when they asked who wanted to leave from the Boston office to go to Hong Kong for a two year assignment I didn't hesitate. Prior to my move to Hong Kong I lived in Boston for 2 years after graduating. I moved from my home town which is near Detroit. I moved out to Boston without knowing anyone and a car full of stuff I felt that was worth keeping. Moving to Hong Kong was the same situation except was able to ship 250 lbs of personal belongings. I work about 9-7 Monday through Friday and view sleeping as wasted time. Pretty much up for whatever whether that is grabbing a casual beer (Oh how I miss the beer selections back home) or going out to the clubs. I am really laid back, although I think everyone on this site is otherwise why in the hell would you let people you never met crash at your place?
I also like to view myself as an active person. I think I would go crazy if I stayed in my apartment all day and never left. I try to go running as much as I can so if your a runner you are more than welcome to join me on my jogs (be prepared for lots of hills in HK). I am by no means fit so I can promise they won't be intense and if you try to overtake me I will take out your shins (joking, but in a serious way).
Eat, drink, play. (Took that from Dave and Busters)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I tried out couchsurfing when I traveled Europe in the Summer of 2010 and just kept the profile and hosted about 40 people or so in Boston and now living in Hong Kong.
Its been all great experiences except for this one person I hosted this one time and they did this one thing, it was weird. They know who they are....
I am a big history person (even though I went to school for math) and want to fit as much knowledge in my head as is humanly possible which currently isn't much.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a solo bike ride from Boston to Detroit about 750 miles (1200km) over a six day period and slept where ever with my one man tent I carried with me.
