I am a 26 year old teacher from Ireland travelling South America. I am new to couch-surfing but I feel its the best way for me to fully experience the people and culture of each new place I visit. I speak fluent English and I am currently learning French and Spanish. 🇫🇷 🇪🇸
History is my biggest passion in life and I teach History in secondary schools back home. I also love sports (especially football), outdoors, cooking, meeting new people and have interesting conversations over a drink.
I also come from a big dog loving family and I have four dogs at home who I would be happy to spend hours telling you all about.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I am a beginner in the couch-surfing scene, I have been travelling through South America since January and I feel the best way for me to experience the places I visit is by sharing experiences with local people, also it will be a perfect opportunity to practice my Spanish as I have only been learning for three months.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love all types of music, from Rock to Rap and Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Britney.
I am trying to listen to more Latin music like Reggaeton, Cumbia and Brazilian Funk.
I am also learning to dance Salsa, so if you know any type of traditional dance I would love to learn!

I love comedy movies and any fantasy movies such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean etc.

I love reading history books and human psychology books.
I am currently reading 'Its a continent!' which is a book on modern African cultural history and 'Surrounded by idiots' which is a book exploring different personality types.

I am very lucky and privileged to have visited every continent except for Antarctica!
I have walked the wild streets of Europe, climbed mountains in North America, travelled the jungles of Asia, sailed the islands of Oceania, slept in the Sahara desert of Africa and now I continue my adventure in South America 🏞️

I also survived a shark attack when I was a child! 🦈 (Check my uploaded photos for proof)

I am working as an English teacher online so I can offer a language exchange in English and if you are feeling very adventurous, I can even teach you some Irish! ☘️

I love teaching people about history so i would be more than happy to share my knowledge but be warned, once I start I will not stop talking even if I am the only person in the room! 🏛️

I do cook so I would be more than happy to help with meals but I have to admit to you that we are not famous for our cuisine in Ireland 😂
