puh, tough questions, when traveling I can do 5 books per month and I like to read different books at the same time, depending on the situation and on the time of the day:
- some literature to broaden my mind while being on the bus (e.g. Eduardo Galleano: Patas Arriba, Open Veins of Latinamerica)
- to fall asleep at night: non-fiction (Thriller, historic novels, e.g. Ken Follet)
- somebody I want to know more about: Biographies (e.g. Evita, Angela Merkel)

Music:
- for going out and dancing: Salsa, Cumbia, Electro Swing, Hip Hop
- during cooking sessions or while writing papers for university: smooth electro, chill out (ever heard of Paul Kalkbrenner, Robin Schuz, DeeCee? Amazing!! =)
- since I am playing the violin, I can listen to classical music to relax and while working to focus

Movies:
- Documentaries & movies that are based on true stories (Everest, Nelson Mandela, Gandhi)
- for entertaining purposes: comedies & anime (Madagascar, Ice Age...)
- ...
