About Me
CURRENT MISSION
If you cook, I'll wash
ABOUT ME
I live in a constant stream of random thoughts which rarely result in actions.
I enjoy doing practical work.
I get excited when I find a cool new place to drink or hangout.
I really enjoy arty stuff like playing instruments, listening to bands, or reading a GRIPPING book.
PHILOSOPHY
Make the most out of what you have and Don't do things you don't want to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Try to host people!?!?
Try and get a couch to sleep on when I go overseas!?!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Our household has hosted a couple of couchsurfers. One from Sweden and one from France. They were very nice and understanding of our slightly rough schedule at the time.
Aside from actual "CouchSurfing" experience. I have lived with a Dutch eco-hydrology exchange student who had some crazy level of energy and would dance around whilst brushing his teeth, he also turned me onto running.
I currently live with a chain smoking Polak programmer who is possibly the funniest freak I have ever known.
Interests
I'm into music, and I would be happy to play my tunes to anyone who would care to listen.
Instruments: Guitar, drums, ukulele, keyboard (poorly)
Riding bicycles: I think these are great machines
I can program computers but that's my job so my vocational interest in this is rapidly declining.
Soccer: don't follow any league I kick the ball around on a weekly basis

Music, Movies, and Books
Bands and artists - good stuff yeah? Tom Waits, XX, Portishead, Boris, Mogwai, Arcade Fire, My Disco, Fever Ray, The Knife, and also a bunch of scuzzy Sydney noise/punk bands that the rest of the world would probably not care for.
Literature - Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs (not Naked Lunch), George Orwell, and Henry Miller.
Movies: Blue Valentine, Ghost World, Lost in Translation, Drug Store Cowboy, Buffulo 66, Animal Kingdom
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Racking my brain for anything interesting at all.
Done: Played (music) in a student warehouse at 1:30am with people leaping onto the stage and wrapping the band in tin foil. Then the police came and turned the power off.
Seen: South coast of Australia (bluest sky in the world, standing on the edge of a 100 foot cliff looking out into the sea), Perth Australia (great beaches and not crazy busy like Sydney), exploring the slums of Shanghai on a bicycle, lugging my baggage through the snow on my last day in Beijing
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach guitar and drums (for drums you would need a high-hat and bass drum pedal). I've had experience in guitar teaching.
Computer stuff? yeah I'm a closest nerd, I can teach you this but drums would be much more interesting.
Bicycle, basic stuff: patch a tube, change a tyre, change brakes, true wheels.
Misc: rolling cigarettes, home brew beer.
WANT TO LEARN: teach me how to fix a car? haha
