Hi there! :)

I'm a Korean student currently studying in Wageningen, Netherlands. I grew up in South Korea, but after high school I took an unexpected turn and went to university in China. I spent about four years there.

I love discovering new places and experiencing everyday life in different cities. I’m not the type who chases big tourist attractions—I'd much rather explore small alleys, visit local markets, or find cozy restaurants where locals actually go. Even after living in Beijing for years, I still feel like there are so many corners I haven’t explored yet.

Now that I'm in the Netherlands for my studies, I'm hoping to travel a bit more, meet new people, and learn about different cultures through real conversations and shared meals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music—whatever fits my mood at the moment. I’m also a big fan of movies and TV dramas. Whenever I have free time, you’ll probably find me watching something on Netflix. I have too many favorite movies to list, but some interesting ones I watched recently include The Queen’s Gambit, 《谁是被害者》 (The Victims’ Game), 《阳光普照》 (A Sun), and 《三十而已》 (Nothing But Thirty).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a clean, respectful guest. I’m always happy to help around the house, cook a simple Korean or share stories about life in Korea.
I can bring small snacks from my country, help with basic Korean/Chinese language practice, or simply be a friendly companion for a walk, coffee, or a home-cooked dinner. Most importantly, I’m grateful for the hospitality and will treat your home with care and respect.
