Dear Couchsurfing mates, I'm Anja. Anjuska. I grew up in Slovenia, in a nice green country with mountains, forests, lakes and a few meters of the sea coast. I spent 19 years in Celje, moved to Maribor for studying and in 2013 I moved to Ljubljana.
I spent 5 months in Greece (Patras) as an Erasmus student and 2 months in Almere (Netherlands, near Amsterdam), where I was volunteering at a sanctuary for exotic animals. Both experiences broaden my mind in a special way.
Life brings. We just need to pick.
Me: I guess I laugh a lot, I like to prepare and try out different vegi food. I like photography. And hats. And dogs. I like chocolate in every possible shape, state of matter and color. I'm an absolute winner in getting lost. I like walking barefoot. I like the color of the sea, the color of the sky (from blue to bright pink and orange). I like trains and boats. And bikes - of course. I am an animal-friendly person. I don't smoke. I hate gossips. I like warmth and dislike cold. I like summers and endless walks in nature. I like the smell of the fresh cut grass in spring. I like forests. And old trees that give you the feeling they've been there since ever. I adore the sound of the sea waves and the smell of the sea. I like music and art ... creating it, feeling it, learning to understand it. I could say I'm an optimist, too.
There is no one giant step that does it. It's a lot of little steps. (Peter A. Cohen)
Always watch where you are going. Otherwise, you may step on a piece of the Forest that was left out by mistake.
(Winnie the Pooh)
Always look on the bright side of life [whistling ...]

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Fjuh...I'm trying to share the idea of CS...to show the people that traveling is not only about staying in nice hotels through a travel agency and taking a tourist bus to see all the famous crowded destinations.

Kids and their special picture of living in this world. It always puts a smile on my face.
Animals and their way of dealing with life. It always makes sense and we can learn so much from them.
The cause of training my intuition too far.
