To make the most of winter on the Ogasawara Archipelago in Tokyo, Japan. There, I will be blogging (rainagainblog.wordpress.com), building houses, scuba-diving, sea-kayaking, and learning more about organic agricultural practices.

I really love art, people, and eating meat. I also love cats and learning new things. I like to read, drink beer, and wear sandals in the rain. I try to be patient and kind with the understanding that every person is beautiful and special.

I really like Miyazaki's artistic animations, Infinite Jest, and books by Haruki Murakami. I also find the Tao Te Ching to be inspirational.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For a month, I stayed with two farmers in Faenza Italy and we butchered two pigs and made salame, salsicche, ribs, and pickled meat.

I can converse in English, share stories of my travels in Romania, Vienna, Florence, Japan, and Korea. I can also teach drawing and painting.
