About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy and learn.

ABOUT ME

I can't digest pineapple. I love espresso.

Apart from that, I guess I am respectful, and easygoing. I like to visit museums, chat, and enjoy life. Basically, as long as the 'vibe' is good I adapt to the environment.

I enjoy literature and sports. I love nature-I study plants. I like having conversations ranging from military strategies of past wars to the best way to prepare crepes.

PHILOSOPHY

Inhale and exhale in a continous cycle. Try to aggregate elements into a coherent whole. For examples thought and feelings, instinct and reason, party and work should complement each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Montreal, the apartment is spacious, and well located so it is is easy to go to shops and bars. I can make you discover the city, and am flexible with friends. The only is that I am just not a cluber...I am more a cooking, play, bars, dancing type of person

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Numerous and great; I have hosted and been hosted by a variety of people. It has always been positive, and generally for a few days I believe all parties can enjoy themselves.

Interests

Learning, nature, literature, running, capoeira, photography, hanging out, dancing(also I study statistics...sorry!). Having a nice coffee or beer or wine somewhere. Silliness and giddiness. Life in general I guess.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow that's a tough one
Nina Simone (USA)
Charles Aznavour (French)
Idir (Berber)
Enrico Macias (French and Algerian)
Celia Cruz (South America)
Movies:
'Va, vis, Deviens'
'Pan's Labyrinth'
'Alien'
'Star Trek'
(ok that's my nerdy side...don't judge me we all have one!)
Books:
'Les Racines du Ciel' Romain Gary (French)
'Les Fleurs du Mal' Beudelaire (French)
Tons of other can't think of them right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day I was in Nicaragua and I ate some poisoned fruit. My tongue swelled. The whole village came out. I was the center of attention of about 200 people, and with my big tongue sticking out, I was crying out for help. I tried mango, water, lemon and finally flour. That worked and I survived. It's as close as I got to getting attention and becoming a celebrity!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach...well I can discuss all sorts of topics...Logical fallacies to stupid jokes. Salsa and swing. Flaming sambuca expert. Cooking/recipes. Nature.
Learn...anything. I like asking questions (but not too many). Likely to visit the botanical garden.
Share...I chat, or keep silent and enjoy the view. Hard to define as that's mostly a function of the environment.
