One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting out of the airport at Barcelona and getting a cab. The driver thought I was Spanish and rattled off a good paragraph before he realized the glazed look on my face wasn't because I was a little slow, but because I didn't understand him at all. Gave us both quite a laugh and I realized I could pass off for a native.

Beach camping trip I took when I turned 21. My friends and I hired a minibus and headed off to Dhapoli on the Konkan coast of India. There was an awesome thunderstorm out to sea that was 'electric' (pun intended). It provided a brilliant all-night backdrop to a lovely beach barbecue. There was one instance where lightening rippled across the entire skyline for nearly a whole continuous minute. It seemed like the entire horizon was ablaze in silver fire.
