Overview
About Me
I recently graduated from university where I studied economics. I work remotely for a non-profit in the US and for the past year I have been living in a new city for a month at a time to explore different places (in North America) instead of signing a traditional lease.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to travel affordably while meeting likeminded people. My favorite part about traveling is learning about the ideals and perspectives of individuals I might not cross paths with in my typical routine. Couch surfing presents the opportunity to get to know someone where they are most comfortable which creates the space for unbelievably genuine connections.
Interests
I’m extremely interested in learning about people and their life experiences. I’ve found that I learn the most about myself through introspective discussions with others. I enjoy pretty much any activity outdoors whether that be hiking, climbing, rafting, or anything else you can think of. As I mentioned earlier I love to spend my free time reading. Dancing to live music is my very favorite way to spend a night out and to meet new people. These are just a few but I very much enjoy trying new things, especially the ones I wouldn’t think of on my own!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love electronic music most but can appreciate any style. I read a new book every week or two but also love a good movie. My favorite books to read are biographies, I love learning about people’s life experiences and how they shape who we become.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With about 6 hours of planning and only 2 days in advance, I traveled alone to a country I’d never been to for a music festival where I only knew one artist on the line up and not a single person. It was a bit nerve wracking at first but I ended up making so many spectacular friends and discovering some incredible artists!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook and try new foods! Im always interested in hearing about different people’s go-to meals, especially when they’re different from my own. Recently I have been very interested in learning more about permaculture and other aspects of sustainable farming. I have never worked on a farm but hope to spend some time volunteering in the near future.
English is the only language I speak but I plan to move to Colombia late this year to study Spanish and immerse myself in the culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an easy going person who loves to go with the flow and connect with anyone no matter the time or place. I’d be happy to cook a meal, help clean/ do chores, run errands, or just provide company (whatever would provide you the most utility)! I love to lend a helping hand in anyway I can and like to think of myself as a considerate and self aware individual.
