ABOUT ME

I think all my friends would say I'm impulsive, friendly, adventurous, sassy and adaptable. I'm always the first to burst out laughing, grab the karaoke mike, volunteer for something ridiculous, answer the phone at 3 in the morning when you need someone to talk to (or bail you out), and take your side even if i know you're wrong. I'm loyal, open minded, and compassionate. I love adrenaline rushes, experiencing new things, meeting new people and I am a big believer in enjoying the life you have while you have it and not getting caught up in silly dramas.

Sustainable living. Yoga. Travel. i love reading and art. I've been a vegetarian for 6 years (though i cheat with fish on occasion, so what does that make me? a pescatarian? I'm terrible with labels), I love animals, music, dancing, learning about history and mythology, sunshine and rainy days, thrift stores, Chinese medicine, curling up for a movie night with friends and living out of backpacks. I'd also like to explore getting into some activism or volunteering for causes that I'm passionate about. I can't expect change if I wont fight for it.

holy crap there are far too many to list

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1) standing on a beach and watching a lightning storm a few miles out over the water... there are few things more magnificent than nature.
2) jumping out of an airplane. way more fun than it should be
3) meeting a woman who had been a victim of FGM... and who was an advocate for girls rights in her country. that kind of strength is a beautiful and stunning thing.
