I am Kara. I grew up in Connecticut and New Hampshire and have a passion for the outdoors and the activities it offers. My love of mountains and nature blossomed after a trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire as a college student. I have also spent 6 months living in Galway, Ireland and traveled elsewhere in Europe and the UK. After graduating college I moved to California for the chance to live and work in places I always dreamed about. I love meeting new people, cooking, running, hiking, skiing, doing yoga, and dog sitting. Currently I reside in South Lake Tahoe and work for the Forest Service.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I created a garden with no gardening experience....I had so much produce I had to give it away! I also oddly know how to replace a toilet! I replaced 5 in one day last year!

I am a Nutritionist. I am always happy to talk about the things I have learned with others (If they inquire).....I am also a dog sitter so I am happy to help people out with that. I always want to learn more about gardening, music, and crafts (i.e. if you make jewelry, pottery, carpentry etc.)

I am a flexible person. I do not need much and if you do not want to be bothered I won't! If you do want to interact, I am happy to though. I am happy to cook for you as well. I was a backcountry cook for a trail crew for 6 months!
