About Me
I grew up in India and studied and worked in the US. I lived in Delhi, New York, and Houston before moving (in Aug 2024) to Panjim, Goa. I currently do contract work online for AI companies that need "subject matter experts" but before that I was a high school teacher and before that a graduate student. I love music, travel, riding motorcycles, reading literature, and hanging out with animals (my brother who also lives in Goa has 8 cats).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was recommended Couchsurfing by a few friends and I want to both use it when I travel and also to host people. Several years ago I had attended a Couchsurfing meetup in Istanbul and it was good fun as I ended up meeting fellow travellers and we ended hanging out quite a bit after. It appeals to me because it seems like an interesting and nice way to travel.
