Hi my name is Karen, I'm a Texan that is working/traveling around New Zealand for the next year. I just arrived here from Australia where I spent last year working/traveling around as well. I love the outdoors and going on new adventures. I enjoy hiking and any water sports activities. I also love reading and enjoying a nice glass of wine or craft beer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I think couch surfing is a good way to meet the locals and see a different part of a town/city that you wouldn't see as just a tourist.
