Hi,

an inveterate traveller, 60 years young, I've spent big chunks of my life backpacking around the world. Family life has slowed me down (a little) but recently the chicks have left the nest and the backpack has been dusted off. I frequently travel alone as it means being more open to meeting other people, and other people being more open to you! I love to hike, have explored may regions and countries that way. I like grass roots travel, local people, food and hands on experience, and it seems couch surfing is a good way to enhance this experience.
Living in France for the last 30 years, I converse in french and English. I understand Dutch and Spanish to a
degree.
Looking forward to hosting and meeting wildly different people in wildly different places!
