I work in National Forests all across the western US. Spend my working time gathering data for the forest and I spend my off time exploring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because the few times I've used couchsurfing it has been absolutely amazing.

Interests

Independent films, especially documentaries, are my jam. I love philosophy and finding other people who like to contemplate their finitude. Wide open nature is my safe place. Maxim Gorky is the author that speaks to my soul. And I absolutely adore learning new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I spent a week with some Lakota people and was invited to participate in an Innipi ceremony. Another time I spent a week in a Benedictine Monastery (they were very hospitable).

Both changed who I am as a person and opened my heart to a different way of relating to myself.
