Ready for a change. I am a high school math teacher and I am looking to do some traveling. I thought I would give hosting a try to check out couchsurfing.

I have just returned from Southern Europe and head to SE Asia for Chinese New Year.

So far I have only hosted. I have had all positive experiences.

Interests

I love the outdoors especially camping and easy hiking. I like to SUP and am a wannabe surfer. I love living in the city but get to the beach as often as possible. I love food, reading fiction, urban hikes, meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have done is meet some awesome teenagers as a foster care home. I love you Preston and Adrian.

Teach, Learn, Share

Truthfully I have spent the last few years in pain watching my mom fight a difficult end of life while I cared for her. I selfishly had no idea this stage of life existed. I thought I would be living my dream once my kids were grown. So all I have to share today is that time is precious.

On a lighter note... I am brilliant at beaches on the east coast of the U.S. I am pretty good at explaining Trig and Algebra II. I try to be genuine and authentic with people and I love when I get a glimpse into someone else's real stuff.

What I Can Share with Hosts

This is a tough question for me. I am not sure that I will ever be willing to give up control and be a guest. Even though I know that control is an illusion. Hmmm...
