ABOUT ME

I am a wife of 25+ years and mother of a 21+ year old son. I hosted and then "pseudo-adopted" a daughter from Thailand in 2001, when she was 15. I am a generally happy person. I am a staff member at a democratic boarding and day school. I am outgoing and friendly. I am fully engaged in life and whatever I am doing at the moment. I am dependable, caring, responsible, and fun.

Would love to host more. Come stay with my family and see the rural mountain life of West Virginia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many of my friends and family are couch surfers and I have met some other CS through those family and friends. I have hosted individuals and families from around the world with other organizations. I have traveled many places and camped or stayed with friends. I love the CS project. 2012 was my first surf experience and I will continue to both surf and host.

I love to share about any of my interests. (see above brief list) I love to talk and have respectful, intelligent debate on any issue. I also really enjoy hearing the stories of other's experiences.

I love to cook with others and share recipes and foods. I am also quite handy around the house so would be willing to fix things or clean, or pull weeds in your garden.
