About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to walk from Germany to Spain
ABOUT ME
Has it really been 4 years since I found CS?? I've done a 3 week trip couchsurfing in Europe and Israel, and hosted people in Athens, GA and Boston. School has drastically slowed down my CSing, but I'm looking forward to some traveling in the near future and hosting people this summer!
I am a pretty friendly, laid back, and considerate person when traveling. Liberal, open minded, and excited to learn new cultures. Always looking for something unique and off the beaten path. I prefer dive bars, local pubs, hidden parks, and exploring the locals' spots to tourist traps. Often sarcastic but always funny and smiling.
My best traveling experiences have been in Eastern and Central Europe (re: my Zagreb boys!) I want to go back and see more! I'm also interested in making a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago - inspired by a German CS friend. 3 months walking from Germany to Spain... yes please!
PHILOSOPHY
"Wanting to reform the world without discovering one's true self is like trying to cover the whole world with leather to avoid the pain of walking on stones and thorns. It is much simpler to wear shoes."
Live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm spreading the word about CS, hosting and being hosted, and am always excited to meet CSers everywhere!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted a few people and have been hosted by several great people in europe and israel. I've also met a couple of really cool couchsurfers traveling in the same places.
I was interviewed about CS by a college news station. I'm spreading the word about CS live and in color - also making my favorite CSers tv stars!
