ABOUT ME

Karen and Ryan are two twenty-somethings from Fort Collins, Colorado with a passion for exploration and adventure.

Karen is a lifelong Harry Potter fan who has enjoyed growing up alongside the students of Hogwarts. After devoting much of her free time to her Harry Potter interests, she is ready to take her passion for traveling and the world of Harry Potter to the next level. After anxiously putting on the sorting hat, Karen was sorted into Ravenclaw! The creativity and eagerness of Ravenclaw house is very apparent in her personality!

Ryan works with a before-and-after-school program, where even the youngest kids, he is happy to report, are still discovering the joys of the Harry Potter books. He also produces music in the band Candy Claws and experiments with nature photography. Ryan was sorted into Hufflepuff. Go figure. You can see and hear his creations at candyclawsfuture.tumblr.com
On June 10th, 2013, Karen and Ryan will set off on a five month journey across Europe. While visiting the filming locations of the Harry Potter movies, discovering the secrets behind the magical world through Jo Rowling’s eyes, and enjoying the natural beauty of our planet, Karen and Ryan plan on learning much about life, nature, and the magical world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011, Ryan and Karen toured around the United States playing the music of Candy Claws. On their adventures they visited locations such as, Austin, Oregon, Washington, California, and many other beautiful locations.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach people about hiking in the Great Colorado Rockies, how to camp successfully, backpack, and conquer the 355 miles of trails Rocky Mountain National Park has to offer!

We would love to learn all about Europe - the best things to see, places to eat, fun things to do, places to camp, etc!
