CURRENT MISSION

I am an undergraduate student working working on a research project while traveling around West Bengal, India. Though I'm serious about the project, I don't want to spend all of my time buried in books! I'm excited to explore more of India.

ABOUT ME

I am 22 years old, and just about to graduate college. I can't wait to be free from school, though I love it.

I'm a mountain woman at heart; I love to camp, hike, and simply be in the mountains. What I love most about the wilderness is the freedom it offers: there are no rules in the woods!

I'm fairly laid back, and love adventure, exploration, and reading (my current favorite author is Tom Robbins).

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that humans are humans, good people can be found everywhere. And we all deserve equal rights. I try my best to treat people with respect and expect it in return. I'm a firm believer in the importance of common courtesy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first venture into organized couch surfing, but I've surfed friends' and acquaintances' couches around the United States. A few summers ago I road-tripped with a group of four from Colorado to L.A., and up the California coast to Chico. We stayed with our respective friends for a few days at a time. It was a blast! Of course, the people who live in any given place have the scoop on fun things to do in the area-and every area has fun things to do, one just has to find them! Similarly, last summer I did the East coast road route, and stayed with friends and family.

I throw functional pottery, I'm a lover of photography and sometimes do portraits, I'm good at coming up with solutions for everyday problems around the house--fixing small things.
