COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

both my kids have couch surfed in europe, i feel grateful for the hosts they have had - all were gracious and generous. I recently stayed on a couch of someone I met through FB to break up a long drive, and while that didn't occur through this site. the concept was the same and the experience was super positive. Since I have had one couch surf stay in PA - I arrived in the summer and the hosts had put in a window unit air conditioner because it was so wicked hot. very accommodating. While I have not been able to host, there have been a few times that I have resourced others who could host for folks passing through.

I love love love the color blue.

I am drawn to vintage absolutely anything.

I own my first home and the early 1900's hardware in it really rocks my world.

I built my own nutrition business and have been at that for over 20 years with clients all over the country. My work is home based offering me tremendous time flexibility.

I am a closet creative dabbling in photography, poetry, short stories and collage.

I am an empty nester. After 1/2 a lifetime with children underfoot the idea of my personal freedom still baffles me.

I am not quite sure what to do with myself.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

motherhood rocked my world. I knew i wanted to be a mom, but being one and trusting my gut about the way to be as a mom were the strongest moments of my life - i just knew with all of me what to do. the mom moments - like the ones that were challenging, painful or sheer joy were positively endless -- still are actually. it's the stuff that makes the world go around. might sound like i am still holding on to the days of yore, truth be I just feel particularly passionate about those times. folks find me wise, grounded and maternal. I like that.
