Hi my name is Karen Closkey! I love flea markets, carnivals, grilled cheese, eBay, labelmakers, tennis and basketball, and of course travel! You can assured I am a great couchsurfer. I do not smoke, drink, or watch Desperate Housewives. Sometimes I will bring a boyfriend with me, sometimes he is grounded and can't come along. Don't worry if you don't have a free couch- I have an aero bed that fits in a totebag. Plus I would be happy to pet sit, sweep floors, do dishes, and other chores in exchange for your kindness. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a girl in New York I met on couchsurfing.com. Her name was Katryn. I made a new friend interested in art and cats and stayed away from the overcrowded uncomfortable hostel! My laptop bag is still full of cat hair but oh well....

In August of 2010 I went on a couchsurfing.com Whitewater Rafting Trip in Jim Thorpe. I almost fell out of the raft twice and I had a blast (and sore muscles)!
