About Me
Some things I could be known for:
- I love to meet new people, to find out what makes them drive and to share stories. I really believe every person has something interesting.
- I think my job is awesome, I can build things (websites!) and we have a hammock so I can do naps whenever I want!
- I windsurf, I can already do a sail 360 and a cowboy, and I can fall in the weirdest ways
- I might bring gnomes after going out, the stone ones, that just happens every now and then
- I love baking, if everything else fails I'll just start a bakery and bake brownies the rest of my life, trying not to eat them all
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What I like most about traveling is getting to know a country and it's people. I want to know the way they live, their view of life and their culture. I find it really fascinating how somethings that is so strange or foreign for one can be totally normal for someone else. And I think couch surfing is one of the best ways to meet awesome people with different perspectives and new stories.
My room is a bit on the small side to host people unfortunately (though it is a pretty awesome room, I live in a sea container), otherwise I would love to let people stay and introduce them to Amsterdam. Hopefully one day I will have a room I can share!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: One of my favorite albums is St. Elsewhere from Gnarls Barkley, so everything that is a bit similar I will like too! Actually, I like all different kinds of music, my favorites change from day to day.
Movies: Amelie, Big Fish, City of God, (I'll also include series, they are important too), New Girl, Narcos, Suits, How I met your mother
Books: Cartography by Kamila Shamsie, The shadow of the wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and Love does by Bob Goff
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been to a real Dominican wedding, with huge Dominican families! My friends got married there and it felt so awesome to be there on such a special day, in such a beautiful part of the world. And oooh, the dances!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Brownies are by far my favorite things to share! But I can also cook for you, because brownies are not the best thing to eat for dinner... unfortunaly
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland
