Hola, Hi! My name is Karim and I’m 26yo. Originally from San Diego, but I studied in the Bay Area and had been working in the SF tech industry until a few months ago. Since then I decided to travel in hopes of learning more about myself and what I want to do with my life and career. I’m very laid back and thoroughly enjoy genuine, introspective conversations about self growth, politics/world views, culture, history, language and of course, sports!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’d like to see the world and learn as much as possible with my limited resources. I’ve found that there’s no greater education than “being/living” in someone else’s shoes and the conversations I’ve had in my limited amount of traveling have been absolutely life giving and life changing for me.

I saved enough money to visit 6+ countries in 3 continents after I was let go from my tech job!

Teach - Life has a way of going on despite ups and downs. All we can do is be as deliberate and as genuine as possible in putting out positive vibes out there and being confident God, karma, the universe etc will reciprocate. Learn - more about YOU! Everyone truly has a unique story with a wealth of knowledge, experiences, opinions etc. I find it fascinating learning about what it means to live and feel what every individual experiences in their own respective country, state, city, community, and confines of their mind. Share - my story, hopes, experiences and opinions in hopes of inspiring, debating, feeling and growing in a mutually, positive way.
