Hey! My name is Karin and I am originally from the beautiful Black Forest area of Germany. In the last years I've been out and about a lot, living in different cities and countries (including Uganda, India, Finland). I am an open-minded, thoughtful and easy going nature-loving person who likes travelling, being outdoorsy, hiking, practicing yoga, cooking and getting to know new people. I am very much into board games and good books. Occasionally I like to go to the theatre and the circus (as I have been part of an amateur youth circus a while ago).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion the best way of getting to know a new city/culture/part of the world is by meeting locals and sharing stories with them. I love to meet new people and to explore their home through their eyes.
I received a lot of hospitality in the last years and I want to give it back to people. So I am happy to help with everything wherever I am based.

Interests

Obviously my passion is to travel the world :) I love camping, street food, hammocks, board games, lively discussions, good books and Indian cuisine. My dream is to explore some bits and parts of the world in a camper but apart from dreaming I like cooking (mostly vegetarian food), gardening and meeting up with friends.
