Hello! I'm Karina, and I'm a resident of Earth (no way, you too?)

In all seriousness, I'm from Los Angeles and currently reside in upstate NY as a fourth-year student studying Anthropology. Some of my hobbies include being outside, hanging out with dogs, drinking tea, writing stories, riding horses, photography, and learning interesting things about the places I travel to or any bizarre fun facts so if you have some, feel free to share them!

I'm also Deaf, fluent in American Sign Language, and am more than happy to teach some ASL

I'm going to Italy this summer for a study abroad program and will be traveling in Europe for a few weeks before and after. Staying with people through Couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals and learn about each place I go to while traveling!

Shaved my head completely bald
Ran a half marathon (and a full marathon on my bucket list!)
Participated in a cheese rolling festival where we chase a roll of cheese down a steep hill (yes, it's a thing! xD)
Collected a bunch of soda tabs for months and donated them to the McDonald House when I was six... passion for our Earth ran in me even then!
