About Me

ABOUT ME

I’m a friendly, curious and sunny “Carioca” from Rio de Janeiro. 🌞

Since 2014, Couchsurfing has been part of my life — and honestly, it has shaped the way I see the world. For me, the best part of traveling is not just the landscapes, but the people we meet along the way, the cultures we share, and the true friendships that can be built. I love the idea of building a family around the world through these connections.

I work with communication, politics and the internet — for the past 6 years I’ve been part of an international NGO that researches the impact of the internet on democracy. Right now, one of my big personal goals is to improve my English and Spanish to keep growing professionally and personally.

I love nature, long sunny days, walking through the streets of new cities, and discovering hidden corners. Travel moves me, and sharing experiences with others makes every trip even more meaningful.

PHILOSOPHY

Quiero envejecer y tener buenas historias a contar.

I want to grow old with a heart full of friendships and a mind full of stories to tell. For me, life is about encounters, generosity, and the beauty of exchanging cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve been part of Couchsurfing since 2014 — more than 10 years now! And honestly, I’m still in love with the idea.

I started hosting in Rio de Janeiro and it completely changed my life. The first time, I hosted two amazing girls from Chile for 10 days — and today they are still my friends. Since then, I’ve hosted several other travelers, and every single experience has been special (even if not everyone leaves a reference 😉).

Through Couchsurfing, I also discovered Argentina in a very authentic way, staying in 3 different homes and living the country through the eyes of locals. Those experiences made me fall even more in love with the CS spirit: kindness, openness, and the magic of building true connections around the world.

Interests

I want learn other languages and know other cultures. In the moment I want learn and practice my English. And with this make new friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese and Spanish (which I actually learned through Couchsurfing!), and I’d love to share my knowledge about social media and communication. I also enjoy cooking and would be happy to introduce you to some delicious Brazilian dishes. For me, the best part of Couchsurfing is exchanging skills and stories, so I’m always excited to learn something new in return.
