CS is a great way to get insider information about nuances of life in different countries.
You talk to inhabitants, see how they live in their houses and what they eat for breakfast... You can't do it if you travel just like a tourist and stay at hotels.

People tell stories from their life, make lists of must-do things in their city and become good friends.
I like such an opportunity to let new people come into my life.
