Hey everyone! I am Karl, 25, from Germany, and I can’t start my day without coffee (I love coffee but tbh I just didn’t want to write the usual I love meeting new people and getting to know different perspectives on life).

I really enjoy being around people I feel comfortable with — then I could spend hours talking about anything. I am passionate about cooking and I love hiking or just being in nature in general. One of my favorite things is going for a hike with pleasant people and then cooking some delicious pasta on a camping stove in the evening :).

I am as well pretty interested in politics and social justice and always happy to discuss different views on it. Additionally I am passionate about learning, speaking and practicing foreign languages. But as much as I love being and talking with other people, I also like just being on my own.

I’m currently doing my master’s in Germany, but I’ve spent the past few months volunteering with different NGOs in Europe that "support" people on the move .
Right now, I’m on my way to Spain (and eventually South America) and would love to meet some people along the way!
On Couchsurfing I am because, honestly, I think the memories in my life came so far from random encounters and unexpected connections or even friendships.
