Honest, unpretentious, sincere. Likes to meet people traveling and share meaningful experiences. Enjoys physical exercise, good food, healthy living, and exploring new places.

PHILOSOPHY

I respect all living things. If i was religious I would probably be buddhist. I try to leave a light footprint. I hope to age gracefully and to keep young and healthy as long as possible. I believe in protecting our future from the fiscal quarter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I anticipate travelling widely in the near future as my kids become independent in a couple of years. I would like to host until then, and hope to guest after my son graduates. I will be working on my farm in the summers, and will still host then, and will look for hosts in the winter when I can travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to host or be a guest. I have heard many positive experiences from friends.

Interests

Enjoy movies, running, biking and any new exercise. Researching health and longevity, medicine, history, especially politics and events leading up to current state of affairs. Enjoy new technology. Love great food and conversation and occasional wine in moderation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the moon and stars at 2 in the afternoon high above the arctic circle at Christmas. Dove in the amazing coral reefs around Nandi in the Fijian islands, surrounded by multi colored tropical fish. Watched the Northern lights put on a show that left the witnesses speechless, asking each other if that really just happened. Achieved a state of health which made me love every minute of life thru diet, exercise, and yoga. Felt love. Watched the birth of my children. Leapt out of an airplane by choice. Grew an amazing herb garden.

I am an experienced organic gardener and and avid juicer. I am good at fixing computers and enjoy Yoga and preparing healthy meals.
