About Me

ABOUT ME

I recently completed school in Hawaii and now I'm back in Washington D.C. As much as I loved Hawaii, I have to admit that I feel much more at home in D.C. I have an amazing job that lets me travel to Southeast Asia from time to time. Overall, I'm really happy with where my life is at the moment, and I'm looking forward to what comes next.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't fear looking down from the top, it only reminds how far you've climbed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend turned me onto the idea of couchsurfing. Unfortunately, I can't host at the moment, but I'm always happy to meet new people and show them around my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't officially couchsurfed yet, but hoping to do so soon.

Interests

I run pretty much every day. I love hanging out with friends, trying new restaurants and exploring new neighborhoods. My favorite thing to do when I get to a new place is wander around the city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Kite Runner, Catfish and the Mandala

Movies: I'm not a huge movie buff, but I do tend to like most movies I watch.

Shows: Basics - GLEE, How I met your mother, Big bang theory, etc..

Music: Grew up on country music, but I've grown to appreciate more refined, sophisticated music. ~~Excuse me, you're a hell of a guy; you know I really got a thing for American guys; I mean, sigh, sickenin' eyes; I can tell that you're in touch with your feminine side ~~

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring Vietnam's northern highlands and looking out over China from the border.

Scuba diving in Hawaii.

Eating ambuyat in Brunei with good friends. (Probably the weirdest food I've ever had, but loved it.)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Croatia, France, Germany, Guam, Laos, Malaysia, Northern Mariana Islands, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Cambodia, United States, Viet Nam
