Whether I'm traveling alone, with friends, or my husband I like to make friends along the way. I'm not just looking for a free place to crash, but someone with shared interests who I (we) can have a great time with.

I've recently started hosting CSers now that I've moved back to Tampa. :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To make friends, stretch my travel budget, gain a local perspective, and to overall broaden my horizons.

The CS community is so much more than a place to find a couch to surf on. I've joined Couchsurfing because I want to share my travel experiences with others.

- Theater (do you love Phantom of the Opera?? Then we should definitely be friends!)

Solo Travel! I had a great experience traveling abroad alone for the first time last year. If you haven't treated yourself to a solo sightseeing expedition I suggest you do so.

Some of my other favorite travel memories:

- Iceland! I've been twice and am going back this summer as well. Hiking, waterfalls, blue lagoon, wool sweaters, geothermal pools nestled in nature, and diving Silfra are a few of my favorite memories.

- Spending a leisurely day sailing through the beautiful, old canals of Amsterdam. One of the best ways to see the city!

- Meeting interesting people while traveling. The joy of making friends abroad can't be overstated.

- Driving through the Scottish West Highlands, the Rocky Mountians of Colorado, and the Ring Road of Iceland.

- Something I would like to do: Are you a futbol/voetbal/football fan (no, not the American kind)? I've always wanted to see a live match in another country. I'd also love to start traveling more outside Europe and the US.

Next Adventure: This summer I'm traveling with family to Europe for the whole month of July. Canada>England>Iceland>Scotland>Ireland>Spain>France>Andorra>Morocco>Nederland>Germany>Poland>Norway

Our 10 year anniversary is this Fall and we're still thinking about where to go. Ultimate trip would be Machu Picchu, but depending on the cost we may pick somewhere else.

May 2018 I'm planning a trip to Asia for the first time with my BFF. Dubai, Bali, Thailand, and China are contenders for this trip. :)
