ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, my name is Karla.
I am from Cancun, Mexico. I decided to join Couchsurfing after hearing my friends experiences on this.
I have an enormous passion for exploring the world and sharing the daily life of different cultures, I believe on the exchange of knowledge and love. I am currently designing a sustainable brand of beach towels in my home town in the Caribbean.

Oscar is my boyfriend, we decided to share the same Couchsurfing account since we move/travel together. He is from Galicia, Spain. He is the most loving person I've ever met, he just finished his diving master and he is currently looking for volunteering in the ocean.

We both enjoyed cooking, learning languages, sports (surf, snorkeling, yoga, snow board, climbing), the ocean, wild animals, natural parks among others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We don't like to be called "tourist", our goal when we travel is to become a "local".

After hearing the experiences of our closest friends been host by great people in unique environments, we would like to have the same opportunity on this great community.

The chance of meeting the locals, to know their different activities, their roots, their heritage and the tips for those undergrounds landscapes the locals only know.
