I grew up in Minneapolis and have lived there up until 2015 when I was given the opportunity to study abroad in the Philippines for a year. That is where I discovered my passion for travel. Now that I'm back in Minneapolis and working, I've been craving to travel again. My personal goal is to complete traveling to each state in the U.S. before graduation from college. Time will tell but as they say, “don’t let your dreams be dreams”.

Travel is an exciting adventure, and when you meet people along the way, it makes your travels more memorable and special. Couch surfing is such a great way to meet people and build connections with those who may share similar values of travel. I lived with host families throughout my exchange year and absolutely loved it. You learn and gain so much by staying with people who want you to stay with them. It's a wonderful opportunity!
