ABOUT ME

Hi there! I am a third year university student from southern California and I started using CS when I studied abroad in Leeds, England for a semester. I am currently settled back into my hometown, but I'm still open to more CS experiences. My character is easy-going, mature, friendly, and generally introverted.

Despite all the horrible shit that happens in this world, I still believe that life is beautiful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the most unbelievable couch surfing experience in Paris!

兴趣

I absolutely love walking around new cities, getting lost, going in and out of quirky shops, and trying local and unique food. Nightlife activities are super fun, but I also really enjoy cultural activities.

When I'm not wandering around unfamiliar cities, I like spending time with my 6 year old sister, listening to NPR news, cooking new recipes, catching up with friends, discovering new bands (or old ones), going to the beach to dig my feet in the sand but never actually swimming in the ocean, drinking chai lattes, and singing at the top of my lungs when I'm driving alone.

On a more serious note, I'm also really interested in learning about the economics of developing countries, income inequalities, and immigration. Why are some countries less developed than others? Why do women still get paid less than men? What impact does immigration have on the growth of a country? How can we fix these inefficiencies and allocate resources correctly so that this world is a better place?!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It's simple, but just travelling alone to England was one of the best feelings I have ever experienced. It was a total of 12 hours with a couple of layovers in different countries. I have never travelled to another continent, especially alone. It was absolutely invigorating.
