About Me

I'm very laid-back and easy to get along with. I love to explore and see new places/things. I recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Natural Resources and am currently serving an AmeriCorps term with The Nature Conservancy. I am also an active member of the local music scene - concerts are my favorite and I work at a local record store. I also occasionally host a radio show on WRUV FM.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel frequently and love seeing the less touristy spots in the places I'm visiting. Couchsurfing makes the experience so much more meaningful and allows me to meet some amazing people who could become lifelong friends! They can also direct me to the best local spots ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

I have couchsurfed once before and had an incredible experience. Unfortunately, I have never hosted any couch surfers but I definitely plan to open up my home as soon as I live in a place that will accommodate that.

Interests

i'm a DJ at my college radio station, I work at a record store and I play a couple of instruments so I love music. I also am very into the outdoors - hiking, biking, kayaking etc. I love cooking and reading and although i'm a homebody I love going to new places and meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 15 I worked at the National Zoo of Australia in Canberra for 1 month as a junior zoo keeper.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am fairly well-versed in New England plants, trees, mammals and birds -- I could teach you a little bit about our natural landscapes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I LOVE cooking and am learning how to make some of my family's Ecuadorean recipes, so I could definitely share some delicious food and cook you an amazing meal. I am gluten-free and have lived with vegan roommates, so I am skilled at gf/vegan/vegetarian cooking and baking as well.

I can also make you an amazing mixtape/playlist that will complement your taste or DJ your dinner party/house party/whatever!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Italy, Netherlands, Saint Lucia
