Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in a medium size city in the north of Mexico right at the border, I’m an only child and grew up with a very small family which makes me very family oriented but at the same time as I grew older I started feeling comfortable being on my own, apart from my family and I discovered that through traveling.
I’m a very open and respectful person when it comes to orientations, postures, likes and thoughts.
I’m in my first year of college studying foreign trade and after exchanging programs twice I think I finally found something that I’m happy with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As most of the people here I love to travel, even tho I haven’t done it much worldwide I’m slowly getting into it and I think Couchsurfing around the world would always the best way to have a very local experience and the community and purpose of this app is amazing to me.
Interests
I like the outdoors a lot, hiking, camping, climbing and just being surrounded by the nature in general.
I love different languages and I’ve been tried to learn a couple of them.
I enjoy getting to know people, to listen and learn from them and the things they’re passionate about.
- hiking
- languages
- learning new things
- exploring
- beer brewing
- knowing new people
- climbling
Music, Movies, and Books
I’m very open when it comes to this topics since I could listen, watch or read anything and from there decide if I like it or not, but I’d definitely give it a try first.
As for now I’m really into folk/ indie music and I recently started to try to watch all the movies nominated to the Oscars and the golden globes before this one’s happen.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked Guadalupe peak which is the highest natural point in Texas, took me a total of 5 hours and definitely left me exhausted.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really like to talk about my country and my culture, my city is knowing (sadly) for being one of the most dangerous cities worldwide and sometimes people seem interested to know how is to live here and if it’s as bad as it has been shown to be, and I always have something good to say about my small hometown and Mexico in general.
I got very interested in craft beer a couple years ago and I’ve been learning about it. I love it!
