ABOUT ME

I am a Mexican who was living in Turkey after getting married to Pelin. We now live in Morelia not far from the city center.

Back in the days and while traveling I used to be a really active surfer. Going to meetings in my city, meeting surfers along my trips and now that I started a family I would love to continue that. Pelin and I have surfed a few couches together. I want to keep showing her this Surfer spirit I found several years ago.

PHILOSOPHY

Like Placebo's song says... A friend in need is a friend indeed.

I hope we find a friend when we are in need... XD
The tourist always knows when he leaves, where he'll go and when he'll come back. He thinks of coming back since the moment he leaves.

In the other hand the traveler knows when he leaves, but he doesn't exactly know where he'll go or when he'll come back... and sometimes he might not be back!

I guess that is why I ended up in Turkey =)

Il turista sa sempre quando parte, dove andrà e quando tornerà , e pensa al ritorno fin dal momento in cui parte. Mentre il viaggiatore sa quando parte ma non sa di preciso dove andrà e quando tornerà , e dipendendo, potrebbe anche non tornare!

That is the philosophy of last minute couch requests =) it can happen to all of us.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I grew up with the idea that if you have the opportunity to help, you shouldn't think about it and just do it... So I help in anyway I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started a bit messy! But with the time passing and surfers coming and going i created in my mind a great image of this project.

Until now I've seen it change and turn it into some sort of Fashion... casual users, people traveling for cheap, scams... But it is great to know that there will be always those who truly understand CS and keep the nice spirit alive!

So I say host and surf! the two sides of a table! there isn't one without the other.

兴趣

I´m interested in Everything! I´ve realized that if you really want to know the culture you have to live in the place!, share with the people! Work with them! and Eat and drink as much as possible!
