ABOUT ME

In September 2011 I moved to Eugene from LA. I'm feeling very at home here with the trees and moss. I am creating an intentional community and eventually a sustainable ecovillage called Emerald Grove. One day I want to do this world-wide. www.emeraldgroveic.org

I hold a bachelor's degree in liberal studies. I taught English while I was living in Germany, and also taught Montessori preschool in LA.

Early 2011 I finished my masters degree in Holistic Nutrition at Clayton College of Natural Health. I also have an energy healing and nutritional consulting business called Natural Frequency Wellness. (www.naturalfrequencywellness.com) Currently I'm working on becoming a certified doula birth support professional and childbirth educator through Birth Arts International. I feel passionately about improving the way babies come into this world and women's empowerment.

I am a true virgo and love helping people. I care deeply for everyone and our planet and do what I can to lead by example. I can talk your ear off with all the crazy stories of random adventures I've had, but I also know how to actively listen. People tend to feel very comfortable and safe around me. I love to party, and will often stay up all night dancing (fueled only by green tea and a love for the underground music scene!) I've also thrown conscious electronic music events here in Eugene. I'm very into healthy food and love to cook.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was fortunate to have stayed with good internet friends of mine while I was in England and Germany. They turned out to be awesome people and I look forward to making more new friends here! My experience with people I've met on this site has fully exceeded my epectations!

兴趣

I'm busy caring for Mom at the moment, and haven't been able to host for a while. We are slowly building a tiny house intentional community here on our land in Oregon with Mom's care as the central focus. We are into sustainability and simplified living. Organic gardening, holistic healing and Earth stewardship are some of our passions. One day we will certainly be hosting again!

I quit UCSB, sold everything I owned and moved to Germany all within one week's span. Oh, and I brought my two cats with me. =) Don't worry they're not coming to stay on your couch!
