ABOUT ME

I am working on my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western in the US, but I have been lucky enough to receive a scholarship that allows me to study in Germany for one year! I will split my time between Munich and Berlin.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few times in Europe and in Canada, and always have such a great time. Unfortunately I am too mobile to host anyone currently.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began couchsurfing while I was interning in Germany with a group of amazing girls in 2008. We had so many unique experiences, that I got hooked! I think it's great to see a city through the eyes of a local, and couchsurfing is the perfect way to make this happen.

I really like foreign and independent films (Amelie, Everything is Illuminated, Maria Full of Grace).
One of my current favorite bands is Spoon, from TX. All time fave is U2.
Don't have much time to read any more, but I do like Frank McCourt's books

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the most amazing things I've done is working with a developing rural community in El Salvador through Engineers Without Borders. Working shoulder to shoulder with the locals to install a water distribution system has taught me to never take anything in my life for granted.
