Hello! I'm Karmen and this year I'm on my gap year. I took this year to travel the world and ˇreally seek discomfort.
I am an artistic person, I enjoy all kind of arts - it could be theater, movies, writing, fashion and/or drawings.
As a person I'm extravert next to introverts and introvert next to extraverts. I really enjoy talking to people because it's the right way to really learn about local culture and environment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because I'm planning to travel around on budget and it's one way to do it. Also I find it really good platform because you can also connect with people around you and your hosts.
So couchsurf is a place where I feel most at home, it's like having friends all around the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste varies time to time but mostly I'm into folk music, soft rock, indie and rnb.
For movies I'm on my mission to watch every legendary movie that there is. So if you know a great movie or director whose movies I should see, then hit me up!
Bookwise I read a lot of Estonian literature, but once again, if you can suggest me some great books then hit me up!

Must watch: Gaspar Noe "Climax" - it's a lot but so beautifully cinematic
Must listen: Estonian folk-rock band which will make you fall in love with Estonian music is Trad Attack!
Must read: "Man Who Spoke Snakish" wonderful book with a great mix of fantasy and character building

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on this trip really. It's a big step for me because going totally alone with a one-way ticket to somewhere is something I thought I'd never do.
